For the past year since he bought the business, Clark has been giving away free coffee EVERY DAY. That's right. Stop by Pikes Perk if you want a complimentary cup of brewed coffee between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday.
And, customers can choose a 12-, 16- or 20-ounce cup.
The reason for his generosity is simple, Clark says. "It's the half hour before I close, and it's either give it away or throw it away."
