Comcast is offering customers subscribing to its $42.95 a month "Performance" Internet service a price-for-life guarantee. Qwest has a similar offer for its DSL customers, but requires a two-year commitment - Comcast is offering its deal with no long-term commitment. Comcast says the Performance tier is its most popular Internet package.
