Partnership for Community Design holds planning workshops

The Partnership for Community Design will conduct a series of six workshops to provide the public with a better understanding of the city of Colorado Springs' planning process. The goals are to improve knowledge about the legal aspects of planning; to reduce potential land-use conflicts; and to develop communication between the public and the city regarding Colorado Springs’ future. The three-hour, weekly workshops will begin April 4 and continue through mid-May. The deadline for workshop applications is Friday, March 16, and costs range from $50 for community members and non-profit groups to $150 for real estate agents, architects and other professionals. Participants must commit to attend each session, and workshops will be limited to 35 people. A workshop schedule and applications are available at http://www.pcd-cs.org/; click on the "CPDW" icon.
