Guadagnolis seek site for second Cowboys night club

Kathy and Sam Guadagnoli, who have operated Cowboy's Country & Western night club at 3910 Palmer Park Blvd. for nearly 20 years, are actively seeking a location for a second Cowboy's, probably in the northeast section of Colorado Springs. The Guadagnolis thought they had their spot, just off East Woodmen Road, but the deal "hit a snare" due to water and traffic issues according to Sam Guadagnoli, and had to be dropped. The couple is still looking for a site in that area, but also in Black Forest, Falcon or downtown. "We definitely want to open a second Cowboy's," Sam Guadagnoli said.

downtown would be a BIG mistake for another niteclub...the parking is terrible and I for one will not travel downtown to linedance! keep cowboy's on the eastside...galley and powers would be a great central location!

I think to have a second Cowboy's would be great. Falcon area is growing so much. I think you would see a big turn out for that out there. Other than in town clubs there really is not anything out there. Frankies Two can only hold so many people. It is so crowded just to get in on the weekends.

I think a second location would be great. Closing the one on Palmer Park to move downtown will cause a huge revenue drop. I blieve you will not have a good turn out with cowboys being downtown with the other clubs. Besides I think if you look at the potential of opening a smaller one in Falcon you will have a good turn out. Frankies Too can only hold so many people. It is so hard to get in there any more with all of the people out there. It would be nice to go dancing close to home. We have stopped going so much because of how far out we live now. You will be shocked at how many people would vote for one on east Woodmen or Falcon.

Moving Cowboay's downtown would be a great mistake. Downtown is not where locals go. Downtown is known for its fights and bad club people. Keep Cowboy's separate from Downtown. We frequent Cowboy's and wil it moving downtown we will not go anymore. Don't need to be cought up in a riot that happens every other month downtown.
